Scanning Devices offers a variety of “Smart” Remote LED Numeric Displays for use as output devices for weighing systems and other numerical data applications. Compatible with data sources which transmit continuous RS-232 or 20mA current-loop signal with asynchronous ASCII data format. Displays are available in .4”, 1”, 2” and 4” LED digit sizes, all displays are 6 digit displays. The “Smart” learn function makes set-up and ongoing operations simple. The Learn function is activated by a single button press upon installation. Simple But Effective - Our arc detection system consists of one or two photoelectric sensors mounted within equipment to view the energy delivery region. These are wired to a plug-in photoelectric amplifier consisting of a power source for the photo sensors, adjustable gain amplifier stage, and output switch. The amplifier's output changes when infrared energy impinges on the photo sensors. The output is wired to industrial oven controls to take appropriate action. CL600 X-Ray Fill Level Inspection for Metal, Glass and Plastic Containers - The FT System CL600 X-ray sensor will inspect metal, glass and plastic containers for fill level defects. The sensor is designed to mount easily over an existing production conveyor. The ergonomic design provides easy access the control panel and supports fast tool-less change overs. The X-ray sensor can be used on still products such as water, juice and tea, wine and spirits. The system can also be used on carbonated beverages including beer and carbonated soft drinks. The CL600 can be supplied with filler valve monitoring and filler sampling.

The FT System QT700 Vision system will detect defects in plastic and metal closures prior to the closure being applied to the container. The system uses cameras to inspect each closure at full production speeds. The system will detect defective caps that may prevent proper container closure, affect the performance of the capper or create a jam in the cap chute.

The FT System series of high speed standing rejectors and diverters are designed to provide stable displacement of containers at production speeds up to 2,000 containers per minute. The systems can be used to remove defective containers from the production line, divert containers to an alternate production line or remove containers for capper, seamer or filler sampling. The FT System QCS120 is a fully automatic non-destructive Quality Control Station. The system uses automated container tracking sensors and software to track the individual container from the time it enters the filler, through the capper and into the Quality Control Station. The system can process up to 120 containers per hour. Once inside the station each container can be tested for up to six inspection parameters. The data is stored for the individual filler valve and capping head. The system is designed to improve and automate the manual quality control process.

The FT System IE720 Label Inspection system uses independent front and back inspection units to capture the image of each container. The system can be configured as a stand-alone inspection unit or integrated into the labeler.
