With a miniaturized sealing head 23.5mm wide, the RQ-8S can strap small bundles that other machines simply cannot handle. It is a fast way to securely unitize small bundles of plastic pipe, conduit, aluminum extrusions, wood molding, dowels, metal rod or any other bundle as small as 50mm or 2" wide. The high-speed sealing head can strap up to 60 bundles per minute without sacrificing any strap tension. This space-efficient Reel Unit design simply slides out from the inside of the body cabinet making strap coil loading easy. The reel rotation is stopped by an electromagnetic Reel Brake instead of a mechanical brake. When the strap coil runs out, the machine will automatically eject any remaining strap from inside the machine saving the operator the time and hassle of clearing out the strap by hand. The exclusive Tension Motor eliminates wear parts such as an interlock shaft, tension belt and pulley for maintenance free performance.
