Thick, heat-sealable, puncture-resistant, flexible X-O Wrap shrink film conforms easily to bulky shapes and non-standard dimensions. It provides a totally protective shell against moisture, dirt, dust, salt and damaging effects of sunlight. Water won’t seep in and cause damage. The opaque film is available in blue or white, with two choices of VCI protection depending on the metal type. Exceptionally rugged shrink film with corrosion protection for ferrous metals. The UVI stabilization feature provides extended life to the film, making it ideal for use in outdoor storage and export environments. Replaces less functional non-VCI shrink wraps, tarps and covers. Packaging design considerations are given for mechanical and corrosion protection of pumps and valves. In a specific design the corrugated separator prevents the VCI from reacing the metal surface. Corrgugated cardboard separators are used as cushioning.
