The C series high-performance suction pad range has been designed to meet the requirements of the automotive sector. The improved characteristics of the C series range optimizes production tools in all branches of activity.

Due to their light weight (from 7 to 13 g depending on the version) and small dimensions, the "just plug it in" CILs can be easily integrated into the compressed air network near the suction pads, even in the most inaccessible parts of the machine. COVAL advises using CIL in-line ejectors for handling electronic components and light-weight objects, feed systems, Pick and Place applications and separating systems for machining sheet metal or plastics.

A traditional single or multi-stage vacuum pump must be equipped with additional peripheral modules necessary for its functioning: solenoid-pilots, valve and electronic circuit, supply pressure regulator, vacuum switch and blow-off valve, which lead to increased dimensions, weight, complex wiring and additional cost of the overall vacuum system. The patented ivc technology of COVAL allows the integration of all necessary functions into a single compact and light weight module. The installation is drastically simplified: no need to select, order and install additional peripheral modules as it comes in a ready to use plug and play format.

The CVG is small, lightweight and energy efficient due to the advanced design which consists of an optimized multi-stage generator and patented check-valve system, lightweight and durable aluminum housing and long lasting foam mat. The multi-stage generator is available in 4 different sizes which can be quickly and easily interchanged in the housing of the CVG. These four modules make it possible for the customer to configure the vacuum gripper for optimum performance and energy savings, depending on the porosity and surface quality of the product(s) to be gripped. CVG is also available without integrated vacuum generator, for use with high-flow vacuum pumps on specific applications.

The GEMP series vacuum pumps are the simplest in the energy-saving range. They can regulate the supply pressure automatically to an optimum pressure of 4 bar thanks to an integrated pressure regulator whatever the pressure in the compressed air network, and this without penalizing other applications which require more than 4 bar. GEMP pumps therefore reduce both energy consumption and the noise level.

The GV series standard ejectors are light-weight and compact. This double advantage makes them easy to integrate into the robotic system. The GV...VR version has an electromechanical vacuum switch which allows the user to check the vacuum level in the suction pad circuit at any time.

GVA series in-line ejectors are particularly adapted to automation thanks to their low weight and very short response time.Their thermoplastic design retains high-performance mechanical characteristics and provides economical solutions for vacuum handling.

GVC series vacuum pumps are vacuum pumps with automatic blow-off. This characteristic allows the gripped object to be automatically released and thus accelerates throughput and simplifies venturi vacuum pump wiring. For vacuum generation control, refer to the GVCS range. The addition of a 1/8 gas fitting to the capacity allows an additional compressed air tank to be connected in order to increase blow-off capacity e.g. for large diameter suction pads.

GVCS series vacuum pumps are identical in design to the GVC series. Their specific characteristic is the control of vacuum generation by integrated valve. The valve control function speeds up response time and facilitates wiring by integrating all the functions. For longer blow-off, please refer to the GVPD range. The addition of a 1/8 gas fitting to the capacity allows an additional compressed air tank to be connected in order to increase blow-off capacity e.g. for large diameter suction pads.

The GVE series pneumatic vacuum pump is used to regulate the vacuum in a tank, a vacuum circuit, a suction pad and especially to significantly reduce consumption of compressed air. The advantages of this pump are its compatibility with a pneumatic control and its suitability for installation in high-risk environments (vacuum pump for explosive environments). Stopping the vacuum pump does not cause the circuit under vacuum to return to atmospheric pressure. Outside action is necessary (1/4 turn valve, solenoid valve, etc.).
