Overview
Scanning Devices provides a complete solution for mobile
temperature logging that makes it easy to read and write to
Thermochron iButtons in even the most remote field
locations.
Four components make up the system; (1) Windows Mobile
bluetooth enabled handheld, (2) Scanning Devices’
Thermochron Application Software, (3) Scanning Devices
iConnection device and (4) Thermochron iButton temperature
loggers.
The Thermochron Application Software is loaded onto a
Windows compatible computer and synchronized to the
handheld device. With the handheld’s bluetooth connection
enabled, a user can read and write to any Thermochron
iButton via the Scanning Devices iConnection device.
Scanning Devices, Inc. is an authorized distributor of
Thermochron iButtons for Maxim Dallas Semiconductor.

Features/Capabilities
Establish and edit Mission data, Read data from a
Thermochron iButton, write to a Thermochron ibutton, graph
and review data collected from each iButton.
Identify each different temperature logging iButton mission
with a unique name and number
Set high and low temperature alarm limits for quick
identification of “out of range” temperatures
Define the time between temperature samples
Delay the start of temperature sampling in minutes, or set a
specific future date and time of your preference
Start and stop iButtons as needed to preserve battery life
Set iButton and iConnection preferences
Works with all Dallas Maxim - Thermochron iButtons
