ZAC Vertical Cartoner CV7.5-200C
Increases Productivity with Unique Product Streaming Delivery System
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -Z Automation Company (ZAC) launches its latest innovation
in vertical cartoning with the ZAC CV7.5-200C. Engineered for performance, the patent-pending
product streaming delivery system significantly increases production efficiency by utilizing a
unique ‘angle-fill’ technique that decreases downtime, product jams and loss. This process gears
toward food and confectionery customers that may require a solution for a semi-complex
application that will eliminate the clogging of lightweight products, for example.
A loose fill product application where automatic scale or volumetric filling can be utilized, this
continuous motion cartoner erects, fills and closes a broad range of carton sizes, from (length)
3.0”–7.5” (width) .812”–5.5” (depth) 4.75”–9.5”. Automatically adjusted side rails and
servo-adjustable carton cell chain enable fast change times. The advanced GMP balcony style
design eliminates the escape and accumulation of product in any section, while providing quick
and easy access for maintenance.
The multi-axis CV7.5 -200C utilizes servos for each assembly, vastly improving flexibility while
eliminating downtime due to the reduced number of moving parts. Complete with a tool-less
funnel changeover, the CV7.5-200C provides rapid, automatic adjustments and repeatable
changeovers. A ZAC ingenuity, the dual carton cell chains, each powered by an individual servo,
stay in unison with the center line of the servo driven bucket track, providing quick and easy
adjustments from the AB 10” PanelView Plus Color Touch Screen while the machine is fully
operational.
