MULTI FINGER STANDING REJECTOR
Multi Finger Standing Rejectors for Metal, Glass and Plastic
Containers
The FT System series of high speed standing rejectors and diverters are
designed to provide stable displacement of containers at production speeds
up to 1,200 containers per minute. The systems can be used to remove
defective containers from the production line, divert containers to an alternate
production line or remove containers for capper, seamer or filler sampling.
The multi finger systems are available in a range of sizes to support different
application requirements. The robust design is capable of support large
containers.

MULTI FINGER REJECTOR TECHNOLOGY – Theory of Operation
The FT System Multi Finger rejectors use individual rejector segments or
fingers to guide the container off the production line. High clock pulse shaft
encoder is used to accurately track the containers position on the
production conveyor. As the container passes in front of the rejector the
finger segments actuate and begin to displace the container. Each
successive segment is slightly longer than the segment before. The
segments are immediately retracted as the container passes allowing the
trailing container to pass without making contact with the rejector.
